The Julien Collot Foundation: Fighting Childhood Cancers

My cousin, Julien, is 5 years old and lucky to still be here. Julien has battled an aggressive form of leukemia (AML) which is rare in one so young. His parents have set up the Julien Collot Foundation in order to fund research into rare childhood diseases. You may find more information at The Julien Collot Foundation Website.

1 Street, Julian Welcome to Our City
New York John Lane Company 1913 Hard Cover Good- No Jacket
A fascinating look at New York City's 'high life' just before the Great War. The first essay enumerates the ways the tourist is separated from his money by every individual they encounter, from the Pullman porter to the bellhop. Some things never change ... Fine dining, dance crazes, etc., are detailed in amusing prose. The author gives the reader an insight into the first stirrings of the 'Roaring Twenties' to follow. Good minus to fair, with edge wear, a childish pencil scrawl on the back free endpaper, plus scratched names and designs on the back board. Front hinge cracked, with super showing through. Small stain to lower page edges. Illustrated with black and white plates of city scenes. Blue hardcover illustrated with a street scene of the Flatiron Building.
